Missing person detectives say they have determined the circumstances surrounding Guevara’s disappearance to be suspicious.

There has been no significant information leading detectives to Guevara’s whereabouts, police say.

A Fresno mother is searching for answers as to why her son was found dead eight months ago.

20-year-old Jacinto Guevara went missing from his home on First and Shields in Fresno in May of last year.

His mother, Lordes Ledesma, says when she got home that day she saw their window open, blood on the doorknob, and the door kicked in.

Following Guevara's disappearance, he was found three months later in a local canal.
