MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The woman who allegedly set her husband on fire before he was found dead in Madera County was in court on Tuesday to face murder charges.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office says the death occurred on Children’s Boulevard, between Lanes Bridge and Highway 41 in Madera.

The initial call came in around 3:00 a.m. for reports of a woman setting her husband on fire.
