It also shows that his family was involved in the church. So I can see how that his sexuality might have been a point of contention, if he happened to be trans or gay. But again all that is up for speculation.

He has siblings, I wonder if they can get his DNA on file, if it isn’t already…

It looks like the 1988 Julie Doe has been identified if its the same case, as Pamela Leigh Walton. Pamela was born a biological male in Kentucky and put up for adoption. Once adopted, his name was Lee Allen Walton.

But anyways Joe was suspected as gay from his family. Im not sure who/when the missing persons report was filed.

His father's obituary actually lists Joe as being deceased.. "He was preceded in death by his wife Marian Kilmer and son Joseph Schedler."
Where did you find information on his sexuality?
I am truly surprised to see people looking into this case. He was a distant relative of mine and we are still trying to figure out what happened. His siblings are very odd but maybe they have submitted dna im not sure. Im not even sure who opened the missing persons case back in 2015.
