An 80-year-old Redding woman who may be in the early stages of dementia hasn't been seen since Sunday, police said.
Officers with the Redding Police Department said Joyce Ann Dihel is believed to be in her silver 2008 Saturn Vue.
It wasn't immediately clear where or when she was last seen Sunday. Officers said family members reported Diehl missing today at 5:30 p.m.
Diehl is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
The California Highway Patrol has activated a Silver Alert for Diehl, meaning freeway electronic signs are broadcasting her disappearance.
Anyone with information is asked to call RPD at 530-225-4200.
