Silver Alert sent for Judy Gilbert, a 72 year old woman (some sources list her as 73) missing from Marin County. Last seen walking away from her home on Vista Linda Drive on Sunday January 23 2025. She is 5’4”, 90 lbs, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing a navy blue jacket, a purple and gray beanie (possibly the one in the photo?), black pants, and black shoes. She is considered at-risk, having a medical condition that causes her to walk slowly and take very small steps. Currently a team of 80 is searching for her. Police said they learned that Gilbert had left the home around noon after abruptly ending a phone conversation.

Police said they learned that Gilbert had left the home around noon after abruptly ending a phone conversation.

Detectives believe she may have wandered away from her residence and into nearby wooded areas.

Police said she left her phone at her home and may not have had resources with her beyond her purse.

"We’re unaware of her having any actual resources with her other than her purse," said Sgt. David Kollerer of the Mill Valley Police Department. "She left her phone at her residence, so it’s hard to locate her. The weather, especially with the cold, has been a challenge, and also with her small frame and stature, we are concerned."
