''SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in connection to a San Francisco cold case homicide, police announced Wednesday. The victim, 30-year-old Karl Holmberg, was fatally stabbed in the Hayes Valley neighborhood on Saturday, August 3, 1991.

Holmberg was at Hayes and Laguna streets around 9:40 p.m. when he was attacked by a group of young men, according to the San Francisco Police Department. As he was being assaulted, one of the men stabbed Holmberg.''
