The attached pictures are Katie.

To give some context for her disappearance:

She was reported missing in January of 2023. Her case on Namus was only created in May of 2024. That's because after taking the report and entering it into NCIC, it was never submitted to Namus by law enforcement in CA, despite state law requiring it.

It was only submitted to Namus in May of 2024, nearly a year and a half after she was reported missing, by another law enforcement agency in her home state of Oregon after she came back as a missing person in NCIC during a routine warrant validation on an outstanding, 18 year old warrant.

In the decade before she was reported missing, Katie was subject to profound domestic violence from her partner. He, in turn, had increasingly routine contacts with law enforcement through the summer of 2022, which were increasingly violent.

She was a poor girl from a bad home and a big family. Her dad died when she was in high school. She didn't come from anything resembling wealth or high professional achievement. But she also did not deserve to be treated like a disposable person.Screenshot_20240917_235721_Chrome~2.jpgScreenshot_20240917_234513_Chrome~2.jpg
