CA CA - Kern Co., UncFemale, 18-30, UP56937, found in shallow grave near Hwy 178, poss. name "Linda," Dec '69

This case seems to have a lot in common with another case on here. AZ - AZ - Aguila, WhtFem 17-23, UP89934, Near Eagle Eye Road, Dec'69 Both were young white females found in the desert in December 1969. Also both were found near highways. Maricopa County Jane Doe was found near Eagle Eye Road south of US Highway 60. This Jane Doe was found in the Mohave Desert south of Highway 178. I think there could be a connection.

this case seems really similar to that of Phelan Jane Doe, who may have been killed by a motorcycle gang in about June 1968 in LA County then dumped in the desert in San Bernardino County. in 1977 the San Bernardino County Sun published an article about the biker gang theory, which can be found here and here
