Bakersfield police seek help finding at-risk teen missing since April

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help in finding an at-risk missing teen, last seen in Southwest Bakersfield.

Lachellae Richmond, 16, was last seen on April 1, 2024, in the 7000 block of North Half Moon Drive.

The Bakersfield Police Department said Richmond was reported missing on October 5, 2024, by the family.

She should have been in school in April. Maybe she was home schooled or a drop-out. If she was attending a public school her absence should have been questioned by the school district.
