<<The disappearance of Larry Trevathan also remains a mystery. Trevathan, of Lodi, was 49 when he vanished.

On the afternoon of June 5, 1993, Trevathan called his estranged wife, pleading with her to reconcile their relationship, otherwise he would kill himself, according to the Lodi Police Department.

His company pickup truck was later found on the south shore of Camanche Reservoir. Authorities searched the reservoir, but no body was found.
Trevathan’s case is still open and no one has heard from him. Friends believe he may have gone back to his home state of Tennessee.

Since his disappearance, his bank and credit card accounts have not been touched, police said.

“It’s odd that in eight years there hasn’t been a trace of him,” Benincasa said. “Usually something comes up. That’s why these are so unique.”>>
