The St. George Police Department had a 66-year old man walk into the lobby of its station and said he wanted to turn himself in for crimes he allegedly committed in California. At the same time, authorities in West Covina called and warned St.George Police Officers to be on the lookout for the same man.

St. George Police Detective Scott Lemmon says Kent Wesley Holman is being held without bail for the West Covina, California, police department in the Friday night deaths of an elderly man and woman.

Yesterday, a judge ordered Kent Wesley Holman to serve life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Back in November, Holman was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder for the August 2005 shooting deaths of 83-year-old Lavar Holman and his 81-year-old wife, Adeline.
