BPD seek help to find at-risk infant, teen last seen in SW Bakersfield

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a two-month-old infant and a 16-year-old girl, both considered at-risk.

Layla Valencia Cerda, a two-month-old infant, and Josefina Valencia, 16 years old, were last seen in southwest Bakersfield with each other on October 25, 2024.
BPD said they were last seen in the 4300 block of Parker Avenue.

Josefina is 5 feet, 2 inches & weighs 170 pounds. black hair, brown eyes, nose piercing on right nostril. Last seen wearing blue T-shirt and gray sweatpants.

Laylah is 22 inches and weighs 15 pounds. Black hair.

BPD said they were last seen in the 4300 block of Parker Avenue, near Ming Avenue and Stine Road. Both are considered at risk due to having no prior history of running away and age.
