What happened to Loren Harvey Jr. on the 15th of October 2010?
Little information is available on this man's disappearance other than that he was a loving husband and father of two who left his residence in his truck and never returned. Small bits of contradictory statements and hand-wavey speculation are scattered across North Bay news sites circa 2010 - 2013 or so, but the updates have since dried up.
According to CP, his White 2001 Dodge quad cab truck was found abandoned "a few days after" he was reported missing by his father. The keys were still in the cab and a gun was present in the vehicle. Harvey Sr. notes it was found on top of a remote hill and that his son would have driven one of his four-wheelers up the hill, not his truck.
Paradise, the town Harvey went missing from and was a resident of, was effectively destroyed in the Camp Fire that hit Butte County in Nov 2018. Missing persons investigations by the Butte County Police Department seem to have halted since then.
