UPDATE: Mary's blue Nissan Versa was found abandoned in Redding, near Shasta Medical Center. Unfortunately, there has been no word on Mary's whereabouts but if you have any information please contact investigator Scott Curtis @ Red Bluff Police department 530-527-3738, reference case #13-1606. Mary Anna Carmelo – The Charley Project

In 2014, her remains were found in the Plumas National Forest near Seneca, California. Her death was ruled a homicide and remains under investigation.
