Ashlee is 40, so she wouldn't have been in high school 14 years ago (if that number of years he said is accurate). It does make me wonder what she was doing at that time. If her older daughter is now an adult, she probably would have been a small child at that time. Since Ashlee's mother L said that the older daughter was in Ashlee's custody when Melodee was a baby (that time she found rotting food in the fridge), it seems likely she was also with her 14 years ago.

I wonder if Brewer knew Melodee's father when he was alive?

Was Ashlee working somewhere 14 years ago and maybe that's how they met? Has Brewer been a process server this whole time? When did Ashlee's mental health struggles begin? In some of the photos of her and Melodee when M was maybe 3-5, she looks much, much heavier than she did when M was a toddler and again currently. This is pure speculation, but since we know she was hospitalized in that time, maybe the heavier time period is when she was on psychiatric meds and being thinner now is a result of stopping them.

Not sure if it's accurate or others have replied to his, but yes he's been a paralegal and process server the entire time based on Linked in.

It’s not a cheap area. I suspect she’s in low income housing.

I’m actually in this area. I looked up the section 8 housing list available in Lompoc, there are a surprising number available currently. Lompoc is the least desirable area to live in SB County, that probably has something to do with it.

They eventually stopped letting her rent but that could be because LE contacted them and asked to do that or because she hasn't paid previous rentals, who knows.

I’ll have to go back, that’s why I was asking. I think I remember something about her landlord telling her to move but it was early

guess it depends how confident LE are about every bump and wiggle on that route. but if they're right, yes, that stands out. ... and jibes with the focus on SW utah that follows from the last sighting information and theories about involvement of old friends.

looking at the map, there is not much out there. except of course the old friends and/or family.

random thought -- and forgive me if is against board rules or something -- do we know if ashlee and melodee have native american roots? and, if so, specifically what nation? because there are several reservations in the area, including the huge navajo one about an hour southeast of panguitch. and if melodee is on a reservation, they might be able to play jurisdictional games to keep LE from bringing her back. and i assume that will depend on whether they are members or eligible to be members of the given nation.
