McInerney is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar or birthmark on his right hip. Dental X-Rays and DNA results are available for comparison with remains.

On 17 March 2007, McInerney crashed his girlfriend's father's car north of Canyon Drive in Sonoma County CA. He had talked her into taking a sleeping pill the night before, then taken the car while she slumbered. Driving impaired and with no driver's permit, he tried to pass a truck at about 65 mph, clipping its right rear and causing it to crash. The truck's driver and passenger were seriously injured.

McInerney pled guilty to charges of driving impaired and without a license, with a sentence enhancement for injuring multiple victims.

While this case was still progressing through the court system, McInerney was arrested on 4 January 2008 in Lucerne CA , apparently for sexual assault.

McInerney was arrested again on 5 November 2010, in Lakeport, Lake County CA for possession of a hypodermic needle and for parole violation. (Note: source is incorrect in stating he was arrested in Lake, Putnam County CA. There is no Putnam County in California, and no town of Lake in Lake County. I should know. I lived in Lake County for 10 years.)

Despite having pled guilty and given up his appeal rights in the process, McInerney tried to overturn his conviction, to no avail.

McInerney was last seen about 1 March 2012. In June 2012, McInerney was homeless and receiving welfare benefits in Santa Monica CA. In October 2012, he phoned his father and told him he was in Missouri. That was the last contact anyone was known to have with McInerney. It is unknown whether or not he is a fugitive from justice.

Possession of a hypodermic needle in 2010, I guess he was using drugs at that time and possibly after. He was homeless in 2012 and travelled from California to Missouri. I'd say he's either living as a homeless person somewhere in the US now or he's one of many UIDs.
