IMO the information in the Los Angeles PD news release is not clear. It states that the last time her family saw her was at 8 a.m. when she left for school, but doesn't say if she attended school that day. It also says that she was supposed to take public transportation after school to meet her mom, so are we to assume from that, that she did attend school? It makes a difference -- did she go missing in the morning between her home in North Hills and the school in Los Angeles (about 5.5 miles,) or did she go missing in the afternoon between her school and the location where she was supposed to meet her mom (about 6.5 miles.) ? In either case, this 13-year-old has been missing for five days and needs to be found. The more specific the PD can be in the facts they release to the public, the better chance that the public will be able to help locate her.
