CA CA- Natalie Ruth Thomas, Adult, Arcata, 8 May 2019

The Arcata Police Department is investigating a missing person. Natalie Ruth Thomas’ family contacted APD on May 8, 2019, stating that Natalie was missing. Natalie’s family is concerned for her welfare as she typically contacts them regularly and they have not heard from her since May 12, 2019.

Natalie is described as a white female adult, age 31, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 104 pounds with brown eyes and long brown hair. Natalie was last seen at Fairwinds Motel in Arcata on Saturday, May 11, 2019.

Natalie is transient in the Arcata area and typically stays in hotels and travels on foot or by bus.

Anyone with information regarding Natalie’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Arcata Police Department 24 hr Line (707) 822-2424 or Detective Marr (707) 825-2528.

It must be a misprint in the APD press release that her family contacted LE to report her missing four days before they last heard from her and three days before she was last seen. I suspect they mean May 28 not the 8th. Hope she turns up soon.

The fact that Natalie has had no contact whatsoever with her folks is troubling. Not sure but I think I may see some similarities in the physical appearances of Natalie and Erin (12/2017) as well as with Asha Kreimer (9/2015). For those who are not aware, Asha may have disappeared from Point Arena, CA. Arcata resident Erin Henry's mysterious death was labeled a suicide, but some are not entirely convinced. There are separate threads on Websleuths devoted to both of these women. Christine Walters (11/2008) disappearance appears to stem from ties she had to Arcata or the College of the Redwoods perhaps. Jennifer Wilmer (9/1993) who disappeared from Willow Creek was known to spend time in Arcata as well. Is someone preying on women in Arcata?

Here’s a thread from the Emerald Triangle Forum about a possible serial killer. It notes how similar the missing women look. Natalie isn’t much different.

Thanks for sharing the link to that thread Lilibet. I will take a look. Since JEJ is currently incarcerated that leads me to speculate that there is someone besides him who is actively snatching women.

Thanks MM. He was unfortunately released a month later. So he could still be out and about. The arrest was a bench warrant for some kind of domestic violence. Some things never change.
