We are asking all residents on the Central Coast, especially those on the Monterey Peninsula, to keep an eye out for an at-risk 12-year-old girl driving a light blue Nissan Altima with California license plate number 8AVF943.

Neveah Castillo took her mother’s car from the 200 block of Riverside Drive in Watsonville at about 1AM today. She was later involved in a hit-and-run in Marina at about 10AM.

We believe Neveah may be with her boyfriend, Kevin Trinidad,12. All regional law enforcement agencies have been notified and are helping look for both 12-year-olds.

Based on prior statements Neveah made, we are extremely concerned about her well-being and the safety of the public as she is driving.

You are asked to please call 9-1-1 if you see a light blue Nissan Altima with California license plate number 8AVF943 on the road. For any other leads, please call Detective Collin Travers at 831-889-8439.

Watsonville Police Department

UPDATE: 3:50PM
We have been informed that both kids were involved in another hit-and-run crash, but this time in San Jose. Here is a photo of Neveah and Kevin that was taken at the scene of where the incident happened. Both 12-year-olds walked away and left the Nissan they were driving.

You are asked to call Detective Collin Travers at 831-889-8439 if you have any information regarding their whereabouts.

I am glad no one was injured in the car accidents. These two are so young, they need to be picked up by the cops and taken home before this situation gets worse.

I wonder who took that last picture of them...

It looks like it might have been gas station/rest area CCTV- some of those cameras have REALLY good resolution these days. I'm glad that the picture was posted, because I'd never have realized it was her from the original poster provided. After years of Websleuths I have gotten pretty good at looking at bone structure, and I can tell it's her from the bone structure, but the bright red hair would have completely thrown me off. MOO

WATSONVILLE, Calif. —
Watsonville Police Department says two at-risk, missing 12-year-old children have been found.
I'm really glad and also not surprised they have been found. Seems like it should have been easy with the trail of wreckage they were leaving in their wake. They look so small! Hope things go better for them now, but I bet it's going to be tough for all involved..
