Sorry for the delay. As of right now nothing else has been scheduled yet. This is starting to feel like the case that will never end. Must be frustrating for the families of the victims and victims.

5-7 years is not at all unusual. She has lawyers who, for whatever reason, will delay and delay and delay...In L.A. County the courts are a bad joke, as are so many other aspects of the place.

Yeah it's like that in a lot of places. I think most of my frustration comes from dragging out cases where it's all on video so there is no doubt she did what she did. Much like the Stines case. I just wish people like that would stop fighting the inevitable and accept responsibility for what they did - rather than make more people suffer for no reason. I know it's not anywhere near reality.......

Yes - it looks like new info for me - as I don't have a trial date. Wondering if they mean the trial begins on 8/13 & ends on 8/31 ??
Do you have a link to where you found this? Same link as I gave you? If so, did it have the last hearing - 2/6/26 as the last hearing below in Past Proceedings?

Yes same link, Superior Court of Los Angeles County, and yes 06 was last thing I had seen listed. I was also wondering and a bit confused about both of those dates being listed as jury trial dates.

I just tried searching about her last hearing - but just coming up with articles from 2025.... Surprised no reporters are covering this one. And thanks for you reply! :)

I am sadly not surprised anymore that reporters don't follow up. Aside from the Guthrie case dominating the headlines, I have noticed quite a few cases that dominated the headlines for a bit and then were dropped the minute there wasn't something immediate to report on. Like the Celeste case, Stines case, Anna Kepner..........I think it's just a sad reminder that reporting is all about clicks and views these days and less about keeping people informed.

There are fewer local reporters today. The L.A. Times staff, for example, has been decimated by continuing decline in subscriptions. The cost is enormous to get the paper, and the paper itself is extremely thin compared to the past. Local TV covers mostly current crimes and car chases. This crime that we're discussing here is put aside until an actual trial commences.
