Sheriff’s Office seeking help in identifying body found in Nipomo ditch

The body is described as an Hispanic male in his mid-20s to mid-30s, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

San Luis Obispo County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the body of a homicide victim found in a ditch in the area of Division Street and Oso Flaco Lake Road in rural Nipomo on Sept. 17.

Hope they check the back of the medallion. It's typical for them to have the birth date or name of the wearer engraved on the back. I have one and mine has my initials and birth date.

NIPOMO, Calif. - Authorities have identified the body found in a drainage ditch in rural Nipomo as 26-year-old Silvestre Montalban Lopez of Guerrero, Mexico.
