CHULA VISTA, Calif. -- Fingerprint and DNA matches led to two arrests thousands of miles apart in connection with the 1995 slaying of a woman whose nude body turned up in a Chula Vista park, 10News reported.

Thank you for posting this. This infuses new hope to so many families who think that answers & justice will never come to them.

I am thankful that the prayers for answers have been answered for the family and friends of Pamela Shelley.

Now I shall pray they get justice for her.
Rest in peace, Pamela....your killers have been caught.

CHULA VISTA – A San Diego man was sentenced in Superior Court yesterday to 12 years in prison for the 1995 fatal shooting of a woman in Lauderbach Park.

Adrian Southerland, 32, of North Park pleaded guilty in a July 26 agreement to voluntary manslaughter in the slaying of 32-year-old Pamela Shelley of National City.
