Circumstances of Disappearance
On 09/04/21, MP told co-worker she was going to San Francisco for a dinner date with an unknown subject.

MP called her daughter that evening to check in around 2030 hours and said she would be back that night or the next morning.

MP never arrived home and did not show up to work the following week or make contact with anyone.

MPD needs your help in locating 42-year-old Patricia Chastain. Patricia was last seen on September 4th after telling family she was going to San Francisco for the evening. She is 6’3” approximately 280 pounds with purple hair and brown eyes. Patricia was driving a 2015 black four door Ford Taurus.

So, she lives and works in Modesto and went on a date in SF?

On Sept. 4 - and family noted right away that she didn't come home...(it's a couple of hours between Modesto and SF, allowing for parking).

There isn't much information on this besides the Modesto Police Departments Facebook post looking for more information. Her family seems active on that post trying to answer questions and find her. How frustrating for her family.

There are definitely a few interesting comments. I wonder how completely out of character this would be for her to disappear without telling anyone?
