I was looking... no info about dna that I could find. Something interesting though. An unsolved missing persons case. Jay Calvin Pringle, last “said” to be dropped off in California by a friend he was traveling with.

No further updates in Namus; I was looking to see if they had DNA that may have matched this maxilla to any other body parts found

Interesting that this is aged at anywhere from 15-25, but perhaps they found the bone only and no teeth to indicate if the wisdom teeth had erupted or not. There are no ruleouts in Namus.

-Remains including bones, skull, teeth and jaw found on December 31, 1985
-Victim's socks spotted lying on top of snow bank on side of the road. Further investigation located a lower jaw bone and teeth.
-PCSO L. Carlton responded to scene and traveled to location with man from Roseville who had been driving to ice fishing at Lake Valley Reservoir with his three sons.
-Further searching located a leg bone placed on top of a 55 gallon drum, and other remains near old mining cabin.
-Additional at scene were PCSO Armstrong, & Nunes. Searchers Jones (dog handler), Hubbard, C. Carlton.
-Single sided razor blade and blue pants recovered.
-Ruled Homicide
-PCSO 19515-85 assigned to Johnnie Smith.
-Namus 17571
