Circumstances of Disappearance:
Voss was last seen in Moreno Valley, California by his family sometime in August of 1988. He has never been heard from again. At the time of his disappearance, Voss was driving a light blue 1973 Ford Courier which has never been located. He wasn't reported missing until January 2006, seventeen and a half years after he disappeared. Few details are available regarding Voss' case and his whereabouts remain unknown.

Agh! So many questions.

He is missing from Moreno Valley. One of the links lists that as his city of residence as well. Why, then, did it take so long to report him missing? I thought maybe he lived elsewhere and was just passing through, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Did someone suspected of nefarious involvement pass away and now it's "safe" to talk about this man missing?

What circumstances would lead to his car not being found after all this time? Under water? Crashed down the side of a mountain in a heavily forested area? Chop shop?

The linked posts say he left voluntarily. Is that an important detail? Was it on good terms? Did he say he was going anywhere? How frequently did he visit family?
