Police Seek Public’s Help After Possible Crime Witness Goes Missing -

Los Angeles City Councilman Bob Blumefield asked the public on Tuesday to keep an eye out for a 53-year-old Oxnard man, who was expected to meet a friend in Woodland Hills, but reportedly never arrived. Ricardo “Rick” Rodriguez is believed to be the victim of a crime, or possibly a witness, Blumenfield said. Rodriguez was last seen at about 7:30 p.m. on Friday night in Oxnard. He was scheduled to meet a friend in Woodland Hills over the weekend, but never arrived, and was declared missing on Saturday. “We believe he may have information about a crime and could still be in the greater Los Angeles area,” he said. “His worried family waits anxiously for his return, and asks that he call home.”
