ORIGINAL POST FROM 03-28-23:
The Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the reported disappearance of Riley Hsieh who had last spoken with family Sunday night (03-26-23) via telephone.
Riley is missing from the 26000 block of Hawk Terrace in Willits (Brooktrails Subdivision).
Riley is known to frequent the end of Hawk Terrace to sit on the hill to meditate. This area was checked by Deputies, but he was not found there or anywhere near his residence.
Riley was last seen by family on home security cameras at his residence on Hawk Terrace. Riley was last seen walking southeast on Hawk Terrace on Monday (03-27-23) at approximately 11:15 AM.
Riley is 24-years-old, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. Riley was wearing a gray robe, light blue pants (possibly flannel) and carrying a light blue or green bag at the time of his disappearance.
Riley is considered to be at risk due to the circumstances of his disappearance.
Anyone who knows the possible whereabouts of Riley is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office immediately by calling our 24-hour dispatch center at 707-463-4086.

A photograph obtained from family shows the clothing Riley Hsieh was last known to be wearing as captured by a home security camera. This photograph was added to this post to assist with the search efforts that began on 03-28-23 after Riley's disappearance was reported to the Sheriff's Office.

ACTIVE MISSING PERSON SEARCH:
The Sheriff's Office is continuing the search for Riley Hsieh who went missing in Brooktrails on 03-27-23 (Monday) around 11:15 AM.
This morning members of the Mendocino County Search & Rescue Team deployed to the Brooktrails Subdivision (Willits, CA) to conduct a further search for Riley.
Attached is a missing persons flyer that is being distributed to the public in connection with Riley's disappearance.
The Sheriff's Office is asking the public who lives in the Brooktrails Subdivision to check their exterior facing security cameras from Monday (03-27-23) at 11:15 AM to date in an attempt to locate any footage of Riley.
Please call the Sheriff's Office 24-hour dispatch center at 707-463-4086 if you have any footage of Riley. This will help searchers to be more efficient and effective in their search efforts.

ONGOING ACTIVE MISSING PERSON SEARCH:
The Sheriff's Office is continuing the search for Riley Hsieh who went missing in Brooktrails on 03-27-23 (Monday) around 11:15 AM.
This morning approximately 41 searchers (local and mutual aid) deployed to the Brooktrails Subdivision (Willits, CA) to conduct a further search for Riley.
These searchers are from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, Mendocino County Search & Rescue Team, Marin County Search & Rescue Team, San Mateo Sheriff’s Office, Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit (BAMRU), Napa County Search & Rescue Team, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Lake County Search & Rescue Team, Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office, Sonoma County Search & Rescue Team, California Rescue Dog Association (CARDA) and the California Explorer Search & Rescue Team (Cal-ESAR).
