Where the cell phone pinged at, according to the article:

Google Maps

The distance marker probably won't show up if you click on the google map link, but you can mark it with the distance measurer tool. Cell phone pings in remote areas such as Otay can be imprecise, due to the mountains, but hopefully the cell phone information is helping the searchers.

Dirt bike rider missing since Saturday on Otay Mountain

SAN DIEGO — Search efforts continued Tuesday for a missing dirt bike rider who never returned home from a solo ride Saturday on Otay Mountain. Teams were out again with an average of 50 members on the ground and choppers searching by air.

They were looking for 48-year-old Roberto “Bobby” Camou, a skilled dual-sport motorcycle enthusiast, who works as a courtroom clerk in Chula Vista.

Mods, this can be removed. Saw this on the news last night. Did a search here for his last name and nothing popped. Just found it on page two. With all this COVID shelter in place stuff, I have no bearings on Dates. Sorry :-)

From that link:

"The body was discovered just before noon on a rugged trail south of Otay Mountain near Alta Road, according to sheriffs. The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will provide positive identification of the body as well as determine the manner and cause of death. "
The article also states that Roberto's daughter posted on her Facebook page that it is indeed her father. So it isn't official, but it is probably him.

I'm so glad he was found, although I wish he had found alive. RIP Bobby, and prayers for your family and friends. I would like to thank all the searchers that helped to find Bobby.

Thank you, @mlhenn for that link. I tried to find it without having to download the file, but as you probably know, that isn't possible.

We still have to wait for the medical examiner to positively identify Bobby:

". . .The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office will provide positive identification of the body, as well as determine the cause and manner of death.

We want to thank our partner agencies for their assistance, as well as the public and media for their cooperation. We are grateful to the 87 volunteers from the Sheriff's Search and Rescue (SAR) Unit and San Diego Mountain Rescue (SDMRT) for their efforts during this operation. SAR performs wilderness and urban rescues, as well as search for missing and at-risk persons. Teams are available 24 hours per day to respond to local, state and federal agency requests. . ."
