SAN GREGORIO BEACH, Calif. — Authorities are continuing their efforts to identify a girl whose body was found washed ashore at San Gregorio State Beach in San Mateo County on Sunday afternoon.

The body was fully clothed when found, wearing faded Hurley brand jeans, a red Nike T-shirt, black boots and a red and silver digital watch, Foucrault said. She also had a full set of braces on her teeth with red rubber bands.​

Why would there be "rule outs" of people born in the 1950s? If she's 12-16 and in the water 2-5 days?

Aren't braces traceable somehow?

Couple of options here the way I see it, either she is from out of the area or she came off of a boat???? If she's missing somewhere else I hope that the great sleuthers here can help make a match!

I don't know why she was considered a runaway when she was a good student, seemed happy the day before, and had goals for her future. :waitasec:
