Shanti Chattopadhyay was last seen leaving her family home in the 900 block of Addison Avenue at around 3:30 p.m., when she went out for a walk. She has dementia and has not returned home. She was wearing a blue, ankle-length dress, has white hair and walks slowly.

Police and her family are actively searching for her and have notified surrounding police agencies. Anyone who sees Chattopadhyay is asked to call 911 and to keep her under observation until officers arrive to help her.
