Circumstances of Disappearance:
Teaford disappeared from North Fork, California in July 1967. He was last seen after allegedly shooting his grandmother to death as well as wounding his sister and another individual. He has never been seen since.

After his disappearance, Teaford was listed as an FBI Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive between 1968 and 1972. Despite not being captured, he was charged for the 1969 murder of an unidentified woman, Alameda County Jane Doe, that was found dead in a hotel room in Oakland, California. His whereabouts remain unknown.
