Gosh, that mask is pretty creepy, but also incredibly memorable.

Can anyone make sense of where the dog was found deceased? It says on Hwy 101, but is that literally on the road, hit by a car? Or in an encampment near the highway or a cliff on the edge.

Todd was last seen near a Motel 6 and McDonald’s in Atascadero early on Wednesday, Oct. 23. He doesn’t have a cell phone, and was using free WiFi on a laptop, friends said. His friends told the Paso Robles Daily News that Todd is currently unemployed and sometimes homeless.

This just saddened me, Todd had such a beautiful smile and obvious zest for life. The two-count felony complaint, filed this afternoon, alleges that Stevens murdered Todd Joseph Pinion and committed animal abuse related to Todd’s dog, Spock. The complaint also alleges that the killing was committed with a knife and the circumstances of the killing constitute a hate crime under California law. It is further alleged that Stevens has a 2022 conviction for assault on a peace officer with a deadly weapon, a strike under California’s Three Strikes Law.
