The Oxnard teenagers, ages 14 and 15, each face a murder charge in the death of Davy Glen Pichel, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said in a June 10 news release.

“The video shows the teens approach Mr. Pichel as he was seated near the church side door next to his wheelchair,” the office said in its release. The teens allegedly beat and stomped the victim. They briefly walked away, but then allegedly returned to take turns to stomp him again.”

Pichel said that the teens returned “repeatedly” to abuse the victim. On the third attack, the teens allegedly unleashed one last flurry of violence before removing Pichel’s clothes and “fleeing the scene,”
