Sheriff's officials Tuesday asked for the public's help in finding a 78-year-old man with serious health issues who disappeared a week ago.
Valentino Delon Escalera was last seen leaving his Valinda residence on Lear Court around 11 p.m. Nov. 20, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's Detective T. Abraham.
He suffers from Alzheimer's disease and high blood pressure, Abraham said.
Escalera is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 154 pounds, according to the detective. He is missing two teeth on the right side of his mouth on the top and bottom rows. He was last seen wearing a blue sweater and dark pants.
Anyone with information about the missing man was asked to contact the sheriff's Missing Persons Detail at (323) 890-5500.
