Family, friends and law enforcement are asking for help finding a Ceres teen who has been missing for three days after she posted on social media that she was going to meet someone for the first time, police said Tuesday morning.
Vanessa Zendejas, 13, was last seen at noon Saturday. She left her phone at home and has not been heard from since, Ceres police said.
There were recent reports that she was making threats to harm herself, police said.
Vanessa has brown eyes, long, black, curly hair and is 5 feet 1 inch tall. She weighs about 110 pounds, has a mole on her right cheek and above her lip and wear black glasses, according to investigators.
