Visalia is no where near the desert boarder area. It’s in Central California. Was she living in Visalia and reported missing from there but her family didn’t know until later that she was deported?

I wonder if there's some confusion with the information. The first link from the Charley Project says she is missing from Visalia, but the second link from ncmissingpersons.org says that she is missing from Tucson, AZ (which might make a little more sense if she was indeed crossing the border). But the investigative agency is Visalia PD in both sources. Confusing.

Interesting. Nothing about deportation mentioned in her NamUs. It says she was last seen in Visalia
It’s confusing, but the way I am putting the two reports together sounds like the RP last physically saw Veronica in Visalia, CA. She had been deported and was coming back to California via Tucson, AZ with a group of others. Not sure how she could be the only one lost. She may have been left behind or encountered authorities and the group split up. Just MOO as I have read those two scenarios many times when one is missing.
