Josephine Zachary

1952 Voter's Registration Josephine H. Zachary shares a house with C. Allen Zachary, presumably her husband, at 1286 Pennsylvania Ave in Colton, California. They appear to live there through at least 1958.

Josephine's husband:
There is a Clarence A. Zachary b. 9 July 1910 d. 28 Aug. 1990 whose SSN was issued in Oklahoma. Comparing this to the California Death Index, we see that this man did die in San Bernardino County, where Josephine and C. Allen lived.

C. Allen Zachary, single in 1940, is a school teacher b. c. 1911, living in Texas, Cotton County, Oklahoma, with his sister Gladys, b. c. 1917 in Oklahoma. She is also a schoolteacher. According to the 1920 and 1930 and 1940 censuses, their parents are Joe D (b. c. 1875) and Beulah A (b. c. 1889), who have these children:

The family lived in Jefferson, Cotton County, Oklahoma. Interestingly, most of the kids go to college, unusual at that time, and end up as schoolteachers.

C. Allen's brother Ralph Homer died Jan. 8, 2010 and is buried in Randlett also. His obituary, found here, should help you find the living siblings, Harold and Ruby who would be siblings-in-law to Josephine, as well as many other relatives:
