Her Facebook - I'm thinking the header photo may be her and a sibling perhaps with her Mom taken when she was little. The posted photos are definately her, though nothing since Jan 1, a smiling photo with a young man. Facebook

Because someone earlier asked if she works and/or goes to school; the daily mail article mentions school but not a workplace....

I hate to bring this up, but has an ICE detention been ruled out? I know that early on, there were "missing" people who were found to be detained. Of course, one would assume that with it being 4 days ago, this would have turned up in some police database if that were the case, but I'm not sure where things are at with that.

I hate to think that would be the reason why she’s missing. Imo I highly doubt it. Her missing is national news. So I’d like to think if that was the case le would know by now. Moo

Ok so she had on white shoes and we really can’t tell if that’s her or not on the ring cam footage but her car lights were on. That’s not something you would do if you were just going to your car for something real quick… she would have had her keys in the ignition for the lights to be on. I find that strange even if she was “going for a walk”

Right. When I set aside the info as given in article and just look at the ring photo, my first impression someone has approached the drivers side door to talk to someone who is sitting inside, with the car on. I wonder if they can tell whether the car was moved (on the theory that she made a quick trip to 7/11 or something - someone watched her leave and waited for her to return). I also wonder why the ring was sensitive enough to pick up some of the motion around the car, but not all of it - like her departure. It makes me think some facts are being withheld by LE.

Could she have been sleeping with Mum because she was frightened of someone? Left her phone to escape stalker calls/messages?
Is Mum a suspect?

Not a good sign she has been missing all over Christmas IMO

I don’t know the financial situation of the family, but I grew up pretty poor in TN and during the winter we’d shut off access to the back half of the house and just warm up the front part - which also meant we all slept together during that time. Having said that, I don’t think it’s THAT cold in TX right now… but it’s the first thing I thought of when the mom said they were sharing a bed.

Does she go to school? Have a job? I’m wondering about her schedule, the places she usually went or people she has contact with at work/school.

Don’t know why, but I’m getting stalker vibes…..someone knew her routine and saw an opportunity.

I am getting predator vibes. Perhaps it was an opportunistic abduction for a person who used to know the path and the neighborhood.

But you may be right, too, as Camilla was a routine-driven person.

Why would she go walking alone in the dark in an area known for possible trafficking?

The only mention I've seen of the area being known for possible trafficking is the previously linked Daily Mail Article. It's the Daily Mail, IMO they put much of south Texas as a "gateway to trafficking" to attrack readers with a more lurid headline. The area in which she disappeared from appears to be a very large upper middle class subdivision - nice area, one I certainly wouldn't be concerned that my daughter would be taking a walk in. No nearby large roads, lots of family homes. Street View · Google Maps

And all the close together houses do look similar.... so if a 3 bedroom home, why was she sharing the bed with her mom?? AND was there anyone else in the house anyway????

If she used the key to open the car using a fob, the lights would have come on.

I noticed in one of the news articles that her friend used the word stalker but she said that Camilla would stalk on them about being careful and having their phones charged and with them. I thought it was a strange use of the word, unless kids say that now? I'm old, haha!

As a 7th-12th grade teacher, yes, I can verify that kids use the word stalk or stalker this way. I've heard adults use it in this way, too.

Moms & daughters typically have a very close bond. To hang out together; sleeping together is not out of the norm. My mom and I would have pizza on her bed and watch a good movie on a Friday night when I was well beyond my teens... Continuous prayers for this family that their daughter is brought home safely.
