Notes that may help another researcher.

  • Place of birth listed on his shipping manifest when he arrived in Canada was Skovik, Norway, no Østre Toten, Oppland, Norway
  • (FamilySearch: Sign In) and searched for his family of origin on (Digitalarkivet) but haven't yet found them. If one of his siblings immigrated to the USA it's possible he went to be with them there and would show up on a later census record.
  • His wife and one of his son's are in this findagrave page Beret Ljunggren (1896-1951) - Find A Grave...
  • A family member has kept a record of his searches for Anker Canada
