Barrie police searching for missing three-year-old girl

''Police in Barrie say they are searching for a little girl who has gone missing.

Police identified the three-year-old girl late Tuesday night as Arabella Vienneau and said that they “have concerns for the child's well being.”

The girl was last seen at a home on Tunbridge Road in Barrie, but police could not say exactly when.

Police released a photo of Vienneau. No other details have been released so far.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Barrie Police at 705-725-7025 ext. 2129, or to call 911 if the child is located or her whereabouts are known.''

''Around 10 p.m., Tuesday, police issued a request for public assistance to help find the little girl, who was expected to be at a prearranged location but wasn’t.''
''Reached by BarrieToday on Tuesday night, Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon said police were called to assist with “a community-based agency where two children were to be at a residence but only one was.”

“We don’t believe we are dealing with an abduction, but there is enough concern for Arabella’s safety to issue a request for the public’s assistance,” Leon said. “We hope she is at someone’s home sleeping and maybe they will see the concern online and give us a call.”

Ugh, this alert just scared my when it went off on my phone.

It sounds like children's services went to pick up kids, and one is missing.

''She was last seen by a family friend at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at home on Tunbridge Rd.

She is described as three feet tall, between 30-40 lbs., with blond hair and green eyes.

Police say she may be wearing red pants with a grey T-shirt, and usually wears a navy blue, bomber-style jacket.

No suspect information has been released, but anyone with information on Arabella's whereabouts is asked to call Barrie Police or 911.''
