• 40-year-old Darcy Shail is charged with first-degree murder.
• 57-year-old Mark Anderson
• 43-year-old Chantal Aube. Both are from Kirkland Lake.

The investigation is ongoing. It's being led by the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch with help from the Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit.

OPP investigating after human remains found in northern Ont.

Provincial police are investigating after human remains were found in a wooded area of northern Ontario and say they cannot confirm if there is any connection to an ongoing missing person case in the area.

Too sad. Re this from the post above stating ""The identity of the deceased has not yet been determined" - on another site I saw there was a fundraiser for funds for her funeral that has reached it's goal. So I wonder if the family has already been notified prior to official verification?

RIP Ashley, and prayers to her son Liam and her family and friends.
