What was found is revealed on SM by his family.

The location given in the press (a cycling trail) is not too far away from the address where he was last seen (less than 10 miles). The terrain seems flat, in a semi-wooded and semi-residential area.

I wonder why he was only reported missing after four days.

RCMP continue to search for missing 26-year-old man | Royal Canadian Mounted Police

The Caraquet RCMP continues to search for 26-year-old Benjamin Morais who was reported missing to police on April 9, 2021, in Caraquet, N.B.

Police believe Benjamin Morais may have been in contact with others since his disappearance on April 5, and are looking to speak to anyone with information on where he could be. "His family and police are concerned for his well-being and want to make sure he is safe,"says Cpl. Sylvain Bergeron with the Caraquet RCMP. "We are urging anyone who has been in contact with him since April 5 or who has information on his current whereabouts to call police".

Benjamin Morais was last seen on April 5, 2021, at a residence on Boulevard Saint-Pierre Ouest.

He is described as being five feet 11 inches (180 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds (73 kilograms). He has green and brown eyes, wears prescription glasses, and his hair is short on the sides and longer at the top.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Benjamin Morais is asked to call the Caraquet RCMP at 506-726-5222.

''A 26-year-old man, who was reported missing in Caraquet earlier this month and was the subject of extensive searches, has been found dead, RCMP announced Monday.

Police said they were notified Sunday shortly after 5 p.m. that a body had been located by a volunteer firefighter in the woods along Chemin Allée des Albert in Caraquet.

"The body was positively identified as the missing man," RCMP said in a news release, without naming him.''
