Body found in water at Scarborough park

Toronto police are seen at Farlinger Ravine Park after a body was discovered in the water on Wednesday morning.
''Taylor Massey Creek runs through the park.

The marine unit has since recovered the body, police said.

The body has not been identified.

Police are on scene investigating.

''Toronto Police are investigating after a body was found in the water of a Scarborough Park Wednesday morning.

Police said they were called to Farlinger Ravine Park near Eglinton Avenue East and Kennedy Road just before 11 A.M. after a passerby discovered a body floating in the water.

The force’s marine unit was called in to recover the body which was found badly decomposed, police said.

Police are still working to identify the victim, and are combing through missing persons cases as a part of their investigation.''

Wondering if this may be Konstantin, who went missing in early March and hasn't been seen since. The way he travelled was very bizarre, it took him 2-3 days to make a 6-hour trip. His workplace is the one to have notified police when he didn't show back up to work after the weekend.

Not sure what "badly decomposed" means in these circumstances, as the water might speed up the process, and it's been pretty warm in Ontario. We've also been in lockdown, but I'd expect more people to be in this nature preserve area.

these are the hardest reports for me. I havent heard from my brother in over 10yrs and my heart is always so heavy when I read a body has been found in the GTA. So sad.

No, I haven't posted one. He suffers from mental illness and is an adult which makes things very 'tricky' here. The Toronto Police have all my information and will contact me if they need to. I keep in contact with Toronto Police and they can not tell me anything due to privacy laws. So, I just wait and hope I never do hear from them.
