Niagara Regional Police were called to the Lake Ontario waterfront park at about 11 a.m. Just before noon Tuesday, police posted a map on social media outlining the park, just west of Seventh Street Louth in St. Catharines, advising people to stay clear.
Later Tuesday, police sent out an update saying the remains belong to a woman believed to be between 25 and 40 years old. She is described as being about five-foot-four, weighing 130-150 pounds, with long, dark curly hair. She is believed to be of South Asian descent.''
