I sent in a tip to The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office and the Toronto Police Service-Missing Persons Unit that Fong might be Gilgo Asian Doe.

Comparison
- Asian Doe was approx 5'6, between 17-23 years old, possibly died between 1996-2001, of Southern Chinese Descent
- David Chi Ming Fong was 5'8, he was 20 years of age, last seen in 1998, and also of Southern Chinese Descent
