Circumstances of Disappearance:
Boyle disappeared from a ship in Georgian Bay, Ontario on July 24, 1972. He was aboard the S.S. Gleneagle on which he was employed, and was last seen on the left side of the deck near the back of the ship. He has never been seen since. It is presumed that Boyle fell overboard and drowned in Georgian Bay, but he has never been recovered.
