...Cossette said she couldn’t release any more details about the case because the SQ is conducting a homicide investigation.

Good grief. I wonder how many times this has happened. The list of unidentified remains is very long. Sounds like they could hire an extra person to match the "missing" with the "found" It's not rocket science. I guess it's not a priority for them. I guess they rely on loved ones to do that. But LE would have to post the pic of the "found" in the media!
