Weekend death in London, Ont. deemed homicide: London police
London police are now calling the death of a man in a London park on Sunday morning a homicide, and have identified the victim as a 52-year-old man. First responders were initially called Sunday around 6:45 a.m. to Gibbons Park for a report of an unresponsive man.

UPDATE – LONDON, ON (November 7, 2022) – Members of the London Police Service Major Crime Section continue to investigate the suspicious death of an adult male. Police can now confirm that this death has been deemed a homicide.
An unresponsive man was located on Grosvenor Street shortly before 7 a.m., yesterday morning and was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The deceased has been identified as Daniel Joseph Fawcett, 52, of London.
Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the 0-100 block of Grosvenor Street between 2 – 7 a.m., on Sunday, November 6, 2022, or who may have information that could assist with the investigation.
Anyone with information in relation to this incident is asked to call the London Police Service at (519) 661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Information can also be sent in online anonymously to London Elgin Middlesex Crime Stoppers.''
