''Calgary police are looking for a man and a woman in their 30s after they were reported missing earlier this month.
Thirty-three-year-old Darren Lachance, who also goes by DJ, was reported missing Sept 2.


He was last seen in the area of 40 Avenue and Northmount Drive NW around 4 p.m. in the community of Highwood on Sept 1.
Police say Lachance “suffers from a medical condition” and they are concerned for his wellbeing.
He is described as approximately 5’9” tall, with a slim build, and about 134 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
Thirty-two-year-old Alicia Finnemore was reported missing Sept. 10. Police say she is “reported to be in a relationship” with Lachance.
She was last heard from Sept. 8, and her family says it’s uncharacteristic of her to not have contacted them for days.
Police add Finnemore typically travels with her dog which is described as a medium-sized breed with brown, shaggy hair.
She is described as approximately 5’4” tall, with a slim build, and about 100 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes.

Calgary couple and dog reported missing

The Calgary Police Service is asking members of the public to be on the lookout for a couple and her dog who were reported missing earlier this month.

''Alicia Finnemore, who also goes by Alicia Lachance, was reported missing by members of her family who last contacted her on Sept. 8. According to investigators, it's out of character for the 32-year-old to not be in touch with her family.

Finnemore normally travels with her brown, medium-sized, shaggy-haired dog.

Police have been told Lachance and Finnemore are in a relationship.

Lachance is described as:

• Approximately 175 centimetres (5'9") tall;
• Weighing 61 kilograms (134 lbs);
• Having a slim build; and,
• Having brown hair and hazel eyes.

Finnemore's described as:

• Approximately 163 centimetres (5'4") tall;
• Weighing roughly 45 kilograms (100 lbs);
• Having a slim build; and,
• Having brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Lachance, Finnemore and the dog is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234 or anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers.''

A woman reported missing a week ago has since been found safe as the search for another missing man continues.

Laura Lachance, DJ’s mother, told Postmedia it is extremely uncharacteristic of her son to not be in contact with friends or family, describing him as outgoing and friendly.

“He always contacts someone on a daily basis,” said Lachance. “Even if he doesn’t have a phone, he talks to anyone and everyone. He’s not shy at all.”

Being in Ontario, she said she has been making calls all around Calgary trying to see if any businesses, agencies or organizations had seen her son. A friend has also been putting up missing posters around the city.

“We’re concerned. We’re extremely concerned,” said Lachance.
