One year later, investigation into death of Penelakut teen continues

One year after the disappearance and death of a 19-year-old Penelakut Island woman, the RCMP is urging anyone with any information to come forward.

“What may seem inconsequential to you may be the missing link in this investigative puzzle,” RCMP Cpl. Janelle Shoihet said. “Everything is important.”

“As the anniversary of Delores’s disappearance approaches, we would like to take the opportunity to ask the public once again, if you have any information about her death or disappearance, please call the Ladysmith RCMP at 250-245-2215, or if you wish to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers,” Shoihet said.
